We don't take reservations here. It's not an oversight or a limitation: it's a decision made long ago that we have no intention of changing.
In Rinlo things work the way they always have: first come, first served. No lists, no apps, no confirmation emails. Because we believe the best table is the one you earn by showing up, just like in the early-morning markets where fishermen pick the best catch before anyone else.
This way of working also lets us do things right: no set times putting pressure on the kitchen, no rush that compromises the product. So sometimes you have to wait a bit? Well, of course. But it would be worse to give you a time and then have you standing at the door anyway. At least this way we all know where we stand.
What you can do
Come early, especially in summer or at weekends. And if you have to wait, don't go far: the harbour is right there, Rinlo is worth a stroll before sitting down at the table, and when the person ahead of you goes in, you go in.
We'll be waiting. With the octopus cooked just right and without making you fill in any form.
